Dr. A G Leonov
Alexander Georgievich Leonov, a design engineer and Doctor of Technical Sciences, is the Director General and Designer General of JSC "MIC" "NPOM". He played a vital role in military and technical cooperation of NPOM with foreign partners. Dr. Leonov largely contributed in the preparation, finalisation and signing of critical organisational documents, directive of the Russian President, Inter-Governmental Agreement between India and Russia from the Russian side, thereby paving the way for the inception of the Joint Venture BrahMos. Dr. Leonov was also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of BrahMos from 2001 for five years. Under his leadership, activities related to BrahMos in Russia are going on successfully.
Dr Jaiteerth R. Joshi is an outstanding defence scientist renowned for his distinct leadership in the design, development, strategic planning & production of tactical missile systems of the country. He has led various initiatives in Joint development of Long Range Surface to Air Missile (LRSAM) & Medium Range Surface to Air Missile (MRSAM).
