    • Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme (IGMDP)- Dr. Kalam, Director of Defence Research & Development Laboratory (DRDL), DRDO, worked for strategic, indigenous missile systems. Missiles like- Short-range surface-to-surface ballistic missile Prithvi, Intermediate-range surface-to-surface ballistic missile Agni, Short-range low-level surface-to-air missile Trishul, Medium-range surface-to-air missile Akash, Third generation anti-tank missile Nag is developed under this program.
    • BRAHMOS Missile- Two-stage missile with a solid propellant booster engine in first phase which brings it to supersonic speed and then gets separated. The liquid ramjet or the second stage then takes the missile closer to Mach 3 speed in cruise phase.Stealth technology and guidance system with advanced embedded software,Fire and Forget Principle, Universal for multiple platforms,# Pin point accuracy with high lethal power aided by large kinetic energy on impact
  • BRAHMOS Weapon Complex System- For Indian Army And Navy.
    • Ship Based Weapon Complex- Capable of hitting sea based targets beyond the radar horizons.INS Rajput, INS Ranvir, Project 15A, Project 1135.6. Universal Vertical Launcher Module (UVLM) for vertical configuration from a moving war ship.
    • Land Based Weapon Complex- Weapon system with its unmatched speed, precision and devastating power. Mobile Autonomous Launcher (MAL) with its own receivers, power stations and fire control system.
    • Air Launch- With Sukhoi- SU-30 MKI installation of BRAHMOS supersonic curise missile.
    • Submarine Launch- Vertical Launch from a submarine. Like Russia's Amur-class submarines.
