BRAHMOS successfully test fired

The 12th successful flight trial of Brahmos supersonic cruise missile took place today in the Rajasthan desert.

The highlight of this test carried out in the user-deployment configuration by trained Army personnel, met all the mission objectives. The missile followed a predetermined trajectory at a very low altitude impacting with precision of the designated land target.

The flight trial was witnessed by COAS, Corps Commanders and other senior officers who termed the flight as 100 per cent successful. Shri M Natarajan, Scientific Advisor to Defence Minister, Dr A Sivathanu Pillai, Chief Executive Officer, Brahmos who were present for the trial expressed satisfaction regarding the missiles performance under extreme climatic conditions.
