BrahMos staffs awarded Prime Minister's Shram Shree Awards for 2018

NEW DELHI: Shri Surender Reddy of Leak test facility and Shri Poosa Ramu of F2 integration, BrahMos Aerospace, have been honoured with the prestigious the “Prime Minister’s Shram Shree Awards” by the Government of India, in recognition of their distinguished work and outstanding performance.

The accolades achieved by Shri Chada Surender Reddy Senior Technician Grade-II and Shri Poosa Ramu Senior Technician Grade-II, both from BrahMos Aerospace Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, Telangana, have exhibited their devotion, making numerous technical contributions which have resulted in higher productivity. They have played a pivotal role in serving the organisation and contributed spectacularly towards system integration of a critically complex missile system.

“Shram Shree/Devi Awards” is instituted by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, in recognition of the distinguished performance, innovative abilities, outstanding contribution, for their productivity and exhibition of exceptional courage and presence of mind amongst workmen employed in Departmental Undertakings & Public Sector Undertakings of the Central and State Governments and Private Sector Units.

Prime Minister’s Shram Shree Awards were instituted in 1955 by the Government of India. The Shram Shree Awards for 2018 was announced on Thursday.
