Message of Condolence on the Passing of Dr. Alexander Naumovich Semaev

In Fond Memory of Dr. Alexander Naumovich Semaev

(27.01.1949 – 04.04.2020)

BrahMos Aerospace extends heartfelt condolence on the sad demise of Dr. Alexander Naumovich Semaev. Dr. Semaev was a great statesman, stalwart and a financial wizard. A fountainhead of knowledge and always a source of inspiration, he was one of the founding pillars of the Joint Venture BrahMos and the member of Board of Directors of BrahMos Aerospace. His immense contribution in nurturing the cooperation between DRDO and NPOM for formation of the JV and functioning till date will always be remembered. His untimely demise has left behind rich memories to cherish, honour and emulate.

Dr. Semaev was the First Deputy Director General of NPO MIC Mashinostroyenia, Director of Corporative Economy, Finance and Sales. He has been awarded with the Order of Friendship and Order of Honor and several other medals.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family and NPOM colleagues. We pray to the almighty for strength and perseverance to all family members to bear the irreparable loss. May his departed soul rest in eternal peace.
