BrahMos Aerospace CEO honoured by Russian university

Sivathanu Pillai, CEO of the Indo-Russian Joint-Venture BrahMos Aerospace Ltd has been awarded an honorary doctorate by St Petersburg's State Marine Technical University (MTU) for his contribution to naval warfare technology.

Pillai, the first foreigner to be bestowed the honour by the elite marine technical university, was praised by scientists and scholars in MTU for his contribution in the field of marine technology, sensors like sonars and weapons like torpedoes.
